Double Trouble

As my friend Lily and I sat in her apartment over looking the city talking about who knows what, we began to consider doing a photo shoot together for fun! We both agreed this would be a fabulous way to spend a morning and began to plan the deatails. These photos are the product of that shoot, and I am so happy with them! They have a vintage feel while still representing modern thoughts and ideas. We played around with extremes (ie. feminine vibes being presented via a demolition site) while also experimenting with posing and lighting. I had never modeled with another person before, so it was a new but intriguing experience for me. I left feeling inspired and eagerly anticipated the finished images. I was not disappointed! Our friend, Richard, did an amazing job of capturing mine and Lily’s personalities in the photographs!

I  am so blessed to have Lily in my life! We randomly met at UAL over a year ago and have slowly, but surely, become the best of friends. I have met some of the most amazing people while living in Nashville, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything! Lily has been such a breath of fresh air! She is always encouraging me to believe in myself and what I am capable of accomplishing.  The community here in Nashville, and the people I have had the privilege to surround myself with, have been vital to my success and confidence. They are a piece of my puzzle I didn’t know I needed until now. I am grateful for the experience to try new things and to unashamedly be who I am. I can’t wait to see what surprises Nashville holds for me next! New outfit post coming soon!
